Major Recent Ruling

On February 19, 2026, LA Superior Court Judge Samantha Jessner denied motions by the City of Los Angeles and State of California to dismiss the cases. The ruling rejected immunity defenses and allowed the lawsuits to move forward. The court confirmed the coordinated cases will now proceed into discovery.
